The strength and stiffness are key attributes that the designer can use to good effect in his design. The thicker panels are ideal for areas with problems with wind uplift, where the structural design allows. With OSB, the design values are readily available and proof that it can be used for flooring or roofing can be obtained via the BBA certificate, EN 12369-1 and BS 8103-3.
